Sometimes the competition that I face is not the competition on the track but rather the competition of finances, and every year it's a losing battle. When you total up all the cost of coaching, trainers, medical, equipment, and travel expenses my monthly paycheck just doesn't add up.

I may be one of the hardest working track and field athletes in the US, but it doesn't mean I get paid like one. I don't have a contract with a shoe company right now, so the only way I get paid is if I win prize money at a big meet or if someone makes a donation on my website. Non-Profit Donations for Tax Deductions

All donations made out to the Oregon Track Club will receive a donation confirmation in the mail that will be proof of their donation to a Non-Profit Organization which can be used as a tax deduction in the fiscal year. Please be sure to include your name, return address and a note stating that the donation should be used for throwers only. All Checks or money orders should be sent to:
